Used to have a .40" round the SUB 2000 liked outta Glock mags. Got back from Iraq & can't remember it. I've got 1 Kel-Tec factory 10 rnd mag (Glock) & 1 Glock factory .357 LE 15 rnd mag. I've worked through most of a box of Black Hills 180 gn JHP tonight & almost always get a failure to feed from the bolt stop in one or other of the magazines. Have also tried Winchester white box 180gn JHP, Hornady TAP FPD 180 gn, and Sellier & Bellot 180 gn flat point solids. The S&B's won't feed @ all; none of the others will consistently feed 10 rounds in a row, though the Black Hills come closest.
I have 8 rounds of nickel plated Speer hollow points that feed reliably out of either mag, despite a couple rounds being noticeably shorter than their fellows. Has anyone had good luck w/ Speer's bullet shape? Should I run out & buy a couple of Glock 22 factory mags to remedy this, or start polishing the feed ramp?
Merry Christmaunakah & Happy New Year!
