Anything they can make and STOCK? Lol
Why not build your own, I did. I already have a PLR-16 that cost me $499 I"d tricked out with the optional fore grip ($45) and a few other things. I paid $80 for the "Charlie" folding stock direct from K-T, put it on after I got my Class III stamp from the BATF - a direct swap with the factory pistol grip that took 5 minutes - and that was that. BTW, I actually saved money by making the gun myself, about $100-$150, over what the SU would have cost me. If you want to know more about it and see a few photo's, check my thread in the PLR-16 area of the forum on how to turn a PLR into a SBR. FWIW, you'll have to get the stamp ($200) either way you'd go (buy an SU-16D or turn a PLR into a SBR route) so that isn't a factor in the cost of the gun's themselves but an add on that goes to the feds, like a very expensive sales tax.
I'm still WAITING to find a Sub2000..........
Will they ever produce anymore?
Why do they keep coming up with new bad ideas instead of producing their money makers?
SU16F (supposedly E is already taken for export versions for Canada): Heavy barrel of C model, compact forend, B model sights and AR pistol grip and adjustable buttstock.
And no, even if for some reason it would make sense to use it, I think the should NOT bring out the SU16 FU![]()
Knarren und Zigarren!!!
The SU16-F is the Canadian model... I have one... I don't know why they skipped the "E" model LOL @ SU16-FU model that's a gooder... Muzza Fuzza
I would like to see them build a carbine along the order of the RMR-30 that would take the AK 5.45 and or the 7.62 X 39 round, and use the same AK magazine. The 5.45 X 39 is almost as inexpensive to shoot as the .22WMR with very little more recoil. Of course that would mean moving the magazine location outside of the pistol grip.
Self defense is not a part-time job!
Shooting is one of the great joys in life. Pass it on.
