    Ksg

Hello all - I just got the KSG and love it. It is my first Kel-Tec. If I can go ahead and ask a question...I know I can shoot 3" shells...can I shoot 3" magnum shells?

Does the manual specify? You may very well be the first one here who owns one, I'm jealous

When it comes to shot shells, Magnum is a moniker that is usually used to denote a larger than usual payload say 1 1/8 or 1 1/4 ounces of shot instead of 1 ounce in a 2 3/4 in shell. They usually have a bit less velocity compared to their non-magnum kin, as SAMMI maximum pressure standards are still followed.

Any shotgun with a 3" chamber will handle any 3" round from any of the major manufacturers.
Self defense is not a part-time job!

Shooting is one of the great joys in life. Pass it on.
