About LinkBacksHello all - I just got the KSG and love it. It is my first Kel-Tec. If I can go ahead and ask a question...I know I can shoot 3" shells...can I shoot 3" magnum shells?

Does the manual specify? You may very well be the first one here who owns one, I'm jealous

Just says 3" shells are ok
When it comes to shot shells, Magnum is a moniker that is usually used to denote a larger than usual payload say 1 1/8 or 1 1/4 ounces of shot instead of 1 ounce in a 2 3/4 in shell. They usually have a bit less velocity compared to their non-magnum kin, as SAMMI maximum pressure standards are still followed.
Any shotgun with a 3" chamber will handle any 3" round from any of the major manufacturers.
