COLT PRICE CHECK

A guy down the road had a list made up of handguns he was going to sell. Many Beretta and Taurus guns. He also had two Colts on the list. I looked at these guns, and all were shot but remain in 90%+ condition. He wanted current Blue Book prices or best offer.

I snapped up the Colt Mustang Pocketlite for $350 and never thought twice about it.

The other Colt is a King Cobra stainless 6" - $400

I told him I would pick it up on monday.


I collect Colt handguns, and in my area anything with the pony on it brings big bucks...well over Blue Book prices. I'm thinking the King Cobra would sell quickly for $500. Am I correct?

I paid around $375 each for my .380 Gvt, Mustang Blued, Mustang Stainless, Pocketlite and Pony Pocketlite. I think they go for close to $500 a pop now.

My Python and Anaconda were both under $700 but I think they each sell for $1000 new if you can get one. I never got a King Cobra...until monday.

I should buy this gun right???

Buy anything made by Colt... even the All-American 2000.

All American 2000, I haven't heard that dogs name for a couple years. That was the pistol that proved colt was still cutting edge right?

Well, the "All- American 200" was a piece of crap, but at least is was UGLY!
