i just got back from a local shop and saw a used p11 with 3 mags and an armalaser, it was used but didn't look like a whole lot of rounds went through it. i am in california and these guns are not available to us, this is a private party purchase so i can buy it. just wondering if this is a decent deal, bear in mind that they do command a bit of a premium being they are not normally available.
from what we've seen here at KTRange over the last 7-8 years, it sounds like you found a really sweet deal.. as long as the P11 is totally functional. I seem to remember a bit of "early day" talk from Cali members here being excited about finding a well worn P11, or even a P32, for $300-350.

i did not buy it, i mulled over it for a good 45 minutes. i knew they sell for around $100 less new so i just couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger on it. im not crazy about the armalaser, any idea what it would bring on the classifieds?
how many KT pistols do you see on the market in California? If they are not "California Compliant" then I would think the only supply would be those that came in prior to the restriction. That was my understanding of the situation from discussions we had here several years ago, and was the percieved basis for the "higher than MSRP" on the short supply available.
