Any recommendations on using a metal magazine catch vs stock plastic one. Also, anyone know where to get a metal one?
Thanks.

I don't know of anyone making them for a P11. There used to be a guy making them for the P3AT over on KTOG...but he hasn't posted in awhile.
I've got I don't know how many thousands of rounds thru my P11 and never had any trouble with the plastic mag release. YMMV.
Probably the same deal as using the steel guiderod... I'm sure KT has their reasons. Especially on this style of gun, that wasn't designed for more than 5-10K rounds over its lifetime...
"What guns? I sold them all..."
Metal is a whole lot better if you can find one and not just for the P-11.
When using a extended finger rest on the magazine that causes your hand to pull down on the magazine increasing the risk of shearing the magazine catch off.
If I remember right a number of years ago a member on here was selling steel magazine release buttons.
I AM NOT FOND OF ANYTHING MADE FROM PLASTIC ETC.
