Anyone try the Pachmayr grip for the P11? Feedback.
I just bought one $13 at the local gun store. Put it on yesterday and will shoot this weekend or Monday. Just thought I'd see how people liked/disliked it for comparison.

I have the Hogue ($6) for my P11 and think it is fine. Never tried the Pachmayr. Let me know how it is.
Martinct,
The Pachmayr grip is ok. I don't really notice a better (or worse for that matter) grip, so maybe that is good. I did notice that the grip, seeing as it has no "stickiness" to it seemed to slide or roll around the grip. Not much, but it does seem to slip a bit. Not sure if I'll keep it on or not. May try some double-sided tape to keep the grip in place and see.
How about the Hogue? Like/Dislike?
Of the 2, my preference is the Hogue. I've seen/sold the Pachmayr, and it never felt as good to me as the Hogue. I put a Hogue pistol grip on my AR, and even their rifle stocks feel amazing (maybe on a later project)
Not sure if it would work for the P-11, but a bicycle inner tube works pretty well on a P3AT...
"What guns? I sold them all..."
I have had the Hogue on the P11 for a while and it has not slipped at all. Occasionally, it will move a touch at the bottom (1/8") and I'll slide it back. It won't make a difference, but I don't want it to affect the mag going in/out by having an overlap. The Hogue was really hard to put on because it is so tight. But, once I got it on, it has stayed and made a nice difference in the grip. It's only a couple of bucks, so it's worth a try if the other grip isn't doing what you want.
Have you seen Tractiongrips? I can highly recommend them.

I just ordered the "Traction Grip" for my P11...
Sounds like what I am looking for, its worth a try.
Yean I think I'm gonna look at something else. The PM grip wants to roll or slide around the handle when shooting.
It looks very good and I would go that route if I hadn't already installed the Pachmayr. My Pachmayr covers the mag release, but still works just fine with it over it.
The Pachmayr that I put on has the finger grips and I had to cut it down in length to fit the rake angle on the grip, but it fits perfectly and never moves. I don't remember what it was made for but I originally bought it for a Star BM and it made that a little to thick.
The Traction Grip came it the mail yesterday. I plan on installing it this weekend.
