Try it again after the gun has a couple hundred rounds through it... Mine likes the CD just fine![]()
"What guns? I sold them all..."
It's not uncommon for me to have to rack the slide a couple of times, or force it shut on the first round out of the magazine. These guns are masochists. They like to be treated rough, and actually perform better that way. When you rack in that first round, you really have to pull back hard and fast on the slide. The closer you can get to mimicking the slide velocity of a fired round, the better it will feed.
Also, you mentioned doing an F&B, but did you taper the barrel hood? That seemed to help quite a bit with the feeding issues I used to have.
I'll try and find a picture for you to explain what I mean, but it'll probably be tomorrow afternoon before I can find it. I believe that the only copy I have left is on my SD card in my camera, and I left it at work.

That would be great Magman454 , Thank you.
Went to the range again today it cycled Blazer Brass flawlessly. The Hornady Critical Defense ammo
jammed once in the middle of the 7 rd magazine. To add insult to injury when ejecting they hit me
in the head.Actually put a little chip in my prescription glasses.![]()
Hey tdtree; Have U tried sending it back to Kel-Tec.....??????? Might want to consider that option.......... And mine shoots "magtec" with no issues.
I`m having to much fun to send it in yet. Magman is gonna tell me how to taper the barrel hood.
I also have a new Ejector coming from Kel-Tec to try.![]()

Sorry it took so long. I couldn't find the original pics anywhere. I know they're somewhere on this site as well, but I figured I would just take some more pics and be done with it.
Here they are.

As can be seen, I took one of those tapered bullet shaped fine grinding bits in my dremel tool and used it to put a taper in the barrel hood on the chamber side. I also used it to shape and polish the feed ramp.
I hope these are helpful to you.
