    Yes, they do.

    Description . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Price
    PF-9 Pistol, Blued . . . . . . . . $ 333.00
    PF-9 Pistol, Parkerized . . . . . $ 377.00
    PF-9 Pistol, Hard Chrome . . . . $ 390.00

Here is the Link to the Kel-Tec site.

And I agree with you. In our family, the pocket pistols are P-3AT's. One blued the other hard chrome. The hard chrome seems slightly more accurate and definiely looks nicer.

You did well. In general, Kel-Tec's are usually discounted from the retail price. I often visit Gunbroker.com for sanity checks on pricing before purchasing locally. Here's a link to a Hard Chrome PF-9. Remember that you have to add shipping and an FFL fee to the auction pricing. Buying local works better for me, unless looking for something hard to get, like the stainless P-11 that was my pride and joy before I moved to 1911's.

If you could find one, and that is the trick, you could probably buy a factory finished, Hard Chrome PF-9 for $30 to $50 more than a blued model, depending on how available they are at the moment. That's less expensive than sending the slide off to one of the top plating companies, but the finish may or may not be as nice. I have had two factory finished, Hard Chrome P-3AT's. The first was absolutely gorgeous, but developed a flaw that you can read about in that section of the KTrange. The replacement is a very nice shooting pistol, but has a less perfect finish.

If I had a hankering for a Hard Chrome PF-9 and a good local dealer, I would express my interest and watch for a nice one at a good price there. Here in Tucson, Murphy's does a great job with both new and used guns, including Kel-Tec.

TucsonMTB . . . who must avoid visiting Murphy's too often
