I could not get but 6 rounds in mine also. Flipped the spring around and it will hold 7 rounds now. Thanks for the info, Jumm
Mine will accept 7 rounds but it is extremely hard to get into the pistol that way. I think some long lived spring compression may help. We'll see.
I know this thread is about 6 months old and I'd like to think that the OP has remedied his (or her) problem with the magazine. Since there are new owners every day, the potential for others to experience this problem still exists. So reviving this thread has merit. I've had my PF-9 for less than 2 weeks and have yet to have any issues EXCEPT this very one! I too, was unable to easily load the 7th round into the magazine (even with the help of the Uplula mag loader). The cure was to disassemble the mag, wipe the spring and inner surface of the mag with a lightly oiled rag. I inspected the follower to make sure that all of the surfaces were free of rough edges. I don't think that the spring was in backwards, but I made sure it was in the right position for reassembly. I frequently call this process the "Norwegian Repair" and I can't tell you how many times that I've used it to "fix" things that wouldn't work right or just plain stopped working. It drives my FIL crazy that I fix things with this method. He's a mechanical engineer and always assumes that there is a design flaw or that a component has failed. Granted, those things can and do happen but in this case, I'm happy to say it fixed my mag problem. While it might not be necessary for each and every magazine, if you're having the slightest bit of a problem loading the mag or perhaps a FTF issue, a quick "Fluff & Buff" of the mag may be the solution. I'm just sayin'. Topgas

Tough are the souls that tread the knife's edge.
I had a similar experience when I purchased my PF-9.
Six rounds max / Disassembled mag / Saw nothing wrong / Reassembled mag / Seven rounds in, easily.
Never did figure out what the original problem was.
