    Bulldog Holster

My son bought me this Bulldog molded leather holster for my PF-9. At only $16 it's a pretty good buy and quite well made. My PF-9 fits well in it and it rides very comfortably on my hip. I'd recomend it to anyone looking for a good holster at a very reasonable price. I've seen them listed from the $16 my son paid at a local Hardware Store, to $30 on Ebay so it pays to shop around. It comes in either black or brown too. Here's mine and my grandson's PF-9s in them.

Can you let the rest of us know the model # or size of this holster? My local ACE Hardware / Sports store carries Bulldog holsters and I'd like to get one before I pick up my PF-9. Thanks TG

You're quite welcome. Ace is where my son bought mine. On the package it just says medium. There's a chart on the back that lists the firearms that will fit each size. A correction though. The tag says it was $16.99 not just $16. I also have a Fobus Evolution II for my PF-9 but I like the Bulldog because it rides a bit higher and is easier to cover with a short jacket or t-shirt. I dislike the muzzle of my PF-9 peeking out when in town.

I'm still waiting for my WI CWL (any day now) and I have a PF-9 on order (probably next week). Based on Spirithawk's review and recommendation, I went ahead and picked up a Bulldog beltslide holster from my local Ace Hardware store. Seems that in my area, the price is a bit lower ($14.99 vs $16.99 in MO) so I feel pretty good about that. The holster seems to be very well made and the leather appears to be of very high quality. I bought the tan/natural leather rather than the black one. Color wasn't the only difference. The black holster seemed to be much stiffer almost brittle. Not so with the tan/natural one. I figured I could always darken / dye mine darker if I feel the need. The Bulldog medium holster also fits a wide range of other pistols. If I don't like the way my PF-9 fits I can give it a try with my Colt's Govt Model. Thanks Spirithawk for reminding me about this holster. TG

Picked up my PF-9 on Saturday afternoon. (My CCL came in the mail too!) Not able to hit the range until Tuesday but that gives me the time to do the basic "fluff & buff". Of course I wanted to see how the PF-9 fit into my Bulldog holster. For a holster made for multiple applications, I can't really imagine a better fit! Both the gun in the holster and the holster on my belt. Couple that with the already mentioned quality of material & workmanship and I'm really feeling good about picking this holster up. It remains to be seen just how well suited it is for actual use but I have high hopes. TG
