I already have a PLR so I didn't check them out, but at a local gun show in March a vender had a NIB (?) PLR-16 for $399. Several others had them in the $425-$475 range. Considering I paid $475 for my gun 3+ years ago, paying less than $500 now seems pretty reasonable. OTOH, telling you one price then jacking it up 25% "just becase" is poor customer PR and I would point that out. I'd also point out I'll never buy anything else from the shop and will inform everyone I know the reason why! I wonder what price they would be willing the offer it for to the next customer who asks about it?
